This guide outlines the steps needed to configure Troy SecureRx within the Meditech as a Service environment
Troy Support & Hospital
The print servers IP address must be configured as a static address prior to starting the below processes.
- Install Troy SecureRx software (v3.4.40.1.exe or later) on print server
- Modify Appsettings.json file
- C:\Program Files (x86)\TROY Group\SecureRx Service Client\Print Processor Service
- "forceListenerIP": "*PRINT SERVERS IP ADDRESS*"
- Create virtual printers using a pre-defined TCP Port
- Can be created through the portal or via Bulk import file
- In the portal:
- https://admin.dischargerx.com/PrintAgents/Create
- Port field is found in the Windows Properties tab
- Via Bulk Import
- Define the port number in column J – “AgentPort”
- Provide spreadsheet to Meditech so they can create Generic Text printers
- Virtual Printer Name
- Print Server IP address
- TCP Port number used
- Firewall rules may need to be configured to allow incoming traffic from Meditech to the print server hosting the Troy virtual printers
- Firewall rules may need to be configured to allow bi-directional traffic from the print server hosting the Troy virtual printers and the Troy Azure server

Meditech Team
- Create printers using the "HP Universal Postscript Driver" for each virtual printer being used by the TroyRx software
- List of printers provided by Troy/Hospital IT
- Will contain Printer Name, Print Server IP address, TCP Port number
- Firewall rules may need to be configured to allow outgoing traffic from Meditech to the print server hosting the Troy virtual printers

TROY RX SUPPORT:
- In the event that security template background features are not displayed set the Transparent Background setting in the Document Setup menu to Method 2.
