Installing Troy Sentry Print Client

SecureDocs client Requirements

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or above; Windows Server 2016 or above
  • Processor: 4 Ghz or faster; 2.0 Ghz dual core or greater recommended
  • Ram: 2GB; 4GB or more recommended
  • Disk Space: 4gb; 8GB recommended

Prerequisites

All necessary prerequisites are packaged with the installer and will be installed if not already present on the machine.

Installation Instructions:

A Client ID and Secret Key is required to complete the Print Client installation. These keys can be generated from Troy Sentry Administration portal and viewed by navigating Admin >> Clients >> View. For assistance generating these keys contact your Troy Technical Resource

  • Run Troy Sentry Print Client.exe as administrator
  • The Prerequisite setup window appears. Click Next
  • Accept the license agreement and Click Next.
  • The Prerequisite window appears
    • Any prerequisites that are needed will have a check in the checkbox and will be installed during the next steps. Click Next

The following assumes all prerequisites are required during installation.

  • The Ghostscript PDF driver and .Net prerequisites will be installed. Click Next
  • The Ghostscript Installer appears. Click Next
    • The License agreement window appears. Click I agree
    • The Choose Install Location window appears. Leave default and click Install.
    • The Complete GPL Ghostscript Window appears. Leave Generate Generate CIDF Maps checkbox checked and click finish.
    • If prompted to reboot the system. Select No. Then click OK
  • The Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime installer window appears. Click Install, When finished Click Close
  • The Microsoft ASP.NET Core Setup window appears. Check the I agree to terms and conditions check box and click Install. When Finished Click Close
  • The Microsoft .Net Runtime installer window appears Click Install. When Finished Click Close
  • The Troy Sentry Print Client window appears. Click Next
    • The License agreement window appears. Check I agree. Click Next
    • The Proxy Settings window appears. Click Next
    • Leave the default install path and click Next
    • The Client Registration Window appears
      • Leave server address as default
      • Enter Client ID and Client Secret
      • Click Next
      • Click Install
    • The Windows Security window appears
      • Name and Publisher is Artifex Software Inc.
      • Click Install
    • The completing set up window appears.
      • Click finish
    • The Troy Sentry Print Client is installed
