      Generating a Sample Prescription

      This article will guide the user through generating a sample prescription.

      During the installation of the SecureRx service client a Print Agent named Drx was created. This printer needs to be added to the EMR system before the following steps taken.

      • From the EMR send a prescription to the DRX print agent
      • The prescription will be saved on the Print Server where DRX is configured.
        • The location of the saved prescription is C:\Output
          • It will be saved in .PDF format and should be viewable in any pdf reader
      • Rename the file using the naming convention:
        • HospitalName_SamplePrescription
      • Email the file to Support@TroyRx.com

      If the sample prescription contains PII do not email the prescription. Reach out to Support@TroyRx.com for a link to our secure file upload site.
