Template settings can be accessed by clicking on the template name in the top left of the visual designer and selecting Document Setup from the menu.
Width: The width of the document being printed. This value is set automatically if a sample PDF document is uploaded during Security Template creation.
Length: The length of the document being printed. This value is set automatically if a sample PDF document is uploaded during Security Template creation.
Repeat: Checking this box will repeat the Security Template on every page if a multi-page document is printed. If this box is unchecked, page 2+ will not have elements applied to them unless specifically configured to do so through the Visual Designer.
Transparent background: Enabling this option will attempt to remove white background from the PDF. The two methods provided have proven successful in different implementations.
If background security features are not appearing on the secured document try enabling this setting.
Print on back: Enabling this option will allow for security features to be added to the back of the document.
Tray: Setting this option will add a tray call to the secured document for routing by the printer.
Duplex: Setting one of these options will add a duplex command to the secured document.
Not all printers will respect print commands within the document. Contact TROY technical support if additional assistance is needed with printer behavior.
