- From the TROYmark tab in SecurePort Monitor Configuration Utility click the "Data Capture" button.
- The "Data Capture List" window opens. To Edit or delete an existing Data Capture highlight the entry and click the corresponding button. To configure a new Data Capture parameter click "Add"
- If Add (or Edit) is pressed the "Data Capture Setup" window appears.
- Under "Captured data will be user for which function..." Check the "TROYMark Data" radio button.
- Under "The format of the data in the print job..."
- Check the "Plain Text" Radio button if: TODO
- Check the PJL Header Information Radio Button if data from the Printer Job Language will be used to capture data. The PJL Header provides information about the print job such use the print job name, user name, printer driver information, etc.
- Check the "Standard Fonts" radio button to use a standard Windows font to capture the data. Any data set to this font will be used in the data capture.
- If Standard Fonts is selected, click the "Add" button under "Fonts to use with Standard Fonts..." section.
- This will open the "FontList" window. Under the "Select an existing font or add a new font..." section. Highlight the desired font and click OK. The FontList window will close and the font name will be shown in "Fonts to use with Standard Fonts..." section in Data Capture Setup window. Repeat this process for additional fonts.
- To add a font that is not listed in the existing font list. Press "Add".
- This will open the "Add new Font To List" window. Under "Font Name:" Type in the name of the font OR press the "..." button next to the text box. Pressing the "..." button will open the "Font" window. Select the desired Font from the left list and press ok.
- To add a font that is not listed in the existing font list. Press "Add".
- This will open the "FontList" window. Under the "Select an existing font or add a new font..." section. Highlight the desired font and click OK. The FontList window will close and the font name will be shown in "Fonts to use with Standard Fonts..." section in Data Capture Setup window. Repeat this process for additional fonts.
- If Standard Fonts is selected, click the "Add" button under "Fonts to use with Standard Fonts..." section.
- If Add (or Edit) is pressed the "Data Capture Setup" window appears.
Font Style and size are not used and can be set to anything. They will have no effect on Data Capture.

- Under "Glyph Map File:" type the name of the glyph map file OR press the "..." button next to the text box.
- The Select a "Glyph Map File..." window appears. Select "StandardGlyphMap.csv" and click Open
- With Both the Font Name and Glyph Map File fields populated click OK. The desired font should now be shown in the FontList. Highlight the font and click OK. The font should now be listed in the window under "Fonts to use with Standard Fonts..."
- Under "Glyph Map File:" type the name of the glyph map file OR press the "..." button next to the text box.

- Under "How will the data be captured..."
- Check the "Use All Data" radio button to capture all data for the defined fonts.
- Check "Use Tags" to capture only the data in between the defined Leading and Trailing tags.
- To add a tag click "Add" . The "Add Data Tags" window appears. Use the "Leading Tag" and "Trailing Tag" text fields to define the tags that will be wrapped around the desired data to be captured.
- Check the "Include leading Tag in TROYmark" to have the defined leading tag included in the TROYmark™.
- If an alternate output for the leading or trailing tag is desired for the TROYmark™ use the corresponding text fields under the "Optional Output Text for TROYmark" section. This will be displayed in the TROYmark in lieu of the Leading and Trailing tags.
- Use the "Remove the Captured Data from Print Stream before printing" if you would like the captured data to NOT be printed on the final document.
- Click "OK" to exit the "Add Data Tags" menu. Repeat the above steps as needed.
