Authentication Portal

The authentication portal is used in conjunction with AuthMark to allow pharmacies to verify the authenticity of a prescription. You will be assigned a custom authentication portal URL during implementation. Please contact support if an authentication portal URL has not been provided to you or if you wish to customize the URL to your domain.

General

Accessibility: It is recommended to leave this setting to Public, which will allow pharmacies to access Authportal information without logging in. Choosing Private will require anyone attempting to authenticate a prescription to have a DischargeRx account login. Choosing Private and Allow User to Register will allow pharmacies to self-register for an account and will require them to login before viewing authentication information.

Logo: Here you can upload a logo to be displayed on the authentication portal. 

Instructions: This text will be displayed under the logo on the left side of the authentication portal. This field is typically used to provide basic instructions to the pharmacy regarding the authentication process.  You can use this space to add additional instructions, such as a phone number to call to manually verify a prescription.

Auto-Expire Documents: This field can be used to set the number of days a prescription is valid for. Setting this field to 0 will result in prescriptions never expiring in the authentication portal.

Portal URL: This field shows the unique URL for your authentication portal. This field can not be edited, if you would like your authentication portal URL changed please contact support.

Display

These options control what will be shown to a user once they have entered the documents unique AuthMark serial number.

Show Document: If this option is checked the user will have an option to open a PDF version of the prescription.

Show Data: If this option is checked the user will be shown the data captured from the document using data capture fields. 

Show Issuer Information: If this option is checked the user will be shown the issuer’s metadata information that was captured during document creation.

Optional HTML: This field can be used to add additional information to authentication pages using HTML.

Custom Messages

Authentication Success Message: This text will appear at the top of the page when the prescription authentication is successful. (E.g. "This prescription has been authenticated. Please verify the information below prior to filling the prescription.")

Authentication Failed Message: This text will appear at the top of the page when authentication of the prescription fails (e.g. Serial number not found / prescription expired). (E.g. "That serial number was not found. Please try again or contact the issuing provider for manual verification.")

Optional HTML for Authentication Failed: This field can be used to add additional information to the failed authentication page using HTML.
